Devry Opens Offices in Chicago’s West Loop

Devry Inc, a private higher education company will be moving to 300 South Riverside Plaza in Chicago’s West Loop.  The Company will bring 600 jobs to the city over a nine year period. 

Initially the company opened 60 new positions, relocated almost 200 staff members from other areas in Illinois and in the coming years they will be hiring almost 400 employees for their online services. The 77,000 square foot offices will have the option to accommodate up to 800 employees if needed.

Other companies from Devry Inc include Devry University, Advanced Academics, Becker Professional Education and DeVry Institute of Technology. 

President and chief executive of DeVry Inc Daniel Hamburguer mentioned they had selected Chicago over other cities because of the combination of quality talent, resources and office space.

Devry follows other large companies like Groupon, Orbitz and Careerbuilder who have also selected Chicago as their headquarters.

Yelp Is Expanding Its NY Offices
