Ebay is Opening an Office in Chelsea, NY

Ebay announced through their blog ebayinc they have decided to expand their presence and will be opening this fall 2012 their New York Office in Chelsea, at 625 6th Avenue. 

The space will house up to 200 people in the next few years. Ebay followed the steps of other tech giants as Google and Yelp, who also opened office in Manhattan. 

While Midtown is recognized for its media companies and Wall Street for its financial corporations, Union Square and Chelsea are becoming the East Coast Silicon Valley. This year Microsoft and Facebook will also be opening offices in Manhattan.

All these moves are revolutionizing the real estate market which has seen an increase in square foot prices during the last years.
