 New York is known as the city of dreams. And who else than Virgo Business Centers to confirm this. Virgo opened its first location in New York City 14 years ago. Today they proudly announce the opening of their fifth location.

This new business center (Virgo Penn Station) is located near Penn Plaza , just a few steps of the 34th St Penn Station. Only a few blocks from Time Square, Port Authority, Empire State Building and Bryant Park.

Quest Workspaces Opens New Center in New York

Most companies celebrate their anniversary throwing a big party, having a great dinner with staff or hosting a cocktail with friends and members, but Quest Workspaces decided to do it somewhat different to celebrate their second anniversary; they decided to expand operations and open a new center in New York!

This news only adds to the string of good news, as Quest was also recognized as one of South Florida’s Start-ups of the Year at the SFBJ Business of the Year Awards held in Ft Lauderdale back in May.

This new Quest center in NY is located at the Time - Life Building, in the heart of Midtown, across the street from Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center. It’s located in the 43rd floor, offering amazing views of New York. A few of the neighbors in the building include Time Magazine, People, Sports Illustrated, In Style and many others. 

With only 2 years in the market, 4 business centers in Florida and this new space in New York, Quest aims to continue expanding its presence and becoming one of the top office providers in the US. 

Although Quest started operations only 2 years ago, the person behind this successful company is CEO and founder Laura Kozelouzek. With years of experience in the industry with the major office provider and having previously founded Synergy Workplaces in 2004, which was then acquired by Preferred Offices in 2008 and then re-branded as Carr Workplaces, we shouldn't be surprised to see more opening from Quest in the next few years.

Meet our Staff: Alex Restrepo

For those who have ridden an electric car, they probably noticed that despite their lack of noise from the engine (electric cars are soundless); they are great machines that can have the same performance as other vehicles.

That would probably be the description for Alex Restrepo, one of our newest team members. 

A very analytical person who has hundreds of thoughts developing at the same time, but whose silence and few words could mislead anyone. Alex stands out not for the loudness of his voice but for the loudness of his acts.  He used to have a recycling company for metal processing and he now splits his time between his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and OfficeList.  

With todays accelerated pace when generation Y is capable of doing three or four things at a time, it’s difficult to find a person who knows how to choose his words and a contagious tranquility.

Alex could brag about his Japanese skills, about the eco-friendly company he used to run, about being an over-performer or maybe about how he recovered from an accident in a four wheeler. But Alex is like an electric car; a life of achievements is hidden behind his silence.

Meet Our Staff: Mark Mancera

Just as in basketball teams where each position is crucial for the team yet all players push forward and defend; OfficeList also has a complete team of account managers ready to help but the personality of each person has earned them a unique place within the company.  

Mark Mancera joined OfficeList over a month ago and that has been enough time to get to know his active and dynamic personality. He’s one of those who lives at twice the speed any human does. While many of us can only do one thing at a time he manages to do three or even four. He has been setting the pace to the rest of the team. 

That dynamism has taken him though many adventures, such as working as a supervisor in a coal mine, volunteering for a non-profit who helped low-income children, playing tennis and practicing mixed martial arts. He’s even a self-learner! He’s learning Portuguese and speaks Spanish too.

Mark will be helping our visitors looking for space in important cities like Miami, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles and Atlanta.

Meet Our Staff: Susana Botero

 OfficeList has always distinguished for having the best professionals in the industry but in this case it was somewhat different. We were not only looking for a business professional but someone who would help us become a global company. 

That is how Susana arrived to OfficeList.  A trilingual professional (English, French and Spanish) with a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and Small & Medium Businesses from the University of Paris. That was an opportunity we couldn't afford to lose.

Having a French-speaking consultant will help us better assist all visitors who need space in the Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec areas in Canada

Susana is in charge of helping those who need space in Canada and some US states as: California, Florida, Georgia and Texas.
